Malaysia Family Travel Budget

Malaysia is probably our favourite place to visit in Asia. We love the east coast – the beautiful beaches and islands. We’ve made so many great¬†friends in Malaysia that I can guarantee we will be back as soon as possible.

55 days in Malaysia

We spent 55 wonderful days on the Malaysian peninsula. We started in Kuala Lumpur and made our way through the Cameron Highlands, to Penang then over to the east coast. We then worked our way from the Perhentian Islands down the east coast through Kuala Terangganu, Mersing, Tioman Island and Johor Barhu.

Over the 55 days we spent a total of $9,205 AUD which works out to be an average of $167 AUD per day.
